Travancore Devaswom Board, the renowned charitable institution of Kerala, was constituted in 1950 for the administration of the holy temples of Travancore and for the welfare of devotees.
It is also engaged in the promotion of multifariours public utility services such as education, cultural activities, temple arts etc. The board has already been running 5 colleges, 18 schools as 2 kalapeethas. However considering the pressing demand from the general public and the elite alike, the board has launched a new venture in the realm of education, by setting up self financing central schools. We started four such schools at selected centres, viz. Kadakkal, Chakkuvally, Vettikavala and Varkala where required facilities are available. The sublime motive is to maintain excellence in every field in these institutions meant to cater to the interests of aspiring students. 3 central schools are affiliated to CBSE and is in fast growth providing English education in rural areas with an affordable fee.
